My first non-bug type animal!

Any advice is gratefully recieved since most pet storse knw nothing so likely the advice I got from them was wrong.

Can this fellow eat greens?

I know he eats crickets but can he get a wee dish of lettuce or whatever?

Also if he did end up shedding his tail..does it grow back?

Just curious if anyone has one of these? I know they can't really be sexed until they're older but is there anyway to at least hazard a guess? My Bill has started getting lines down his back indicating female but hes also getting brown dots along his tail and his face/body type look more male.

Fraid I can't help you at all, Vicky. But I'm assuming you've done some Googling? I would think there would be reptile forums out there with knowledgable folks if no one here is able to help.

Attractive little devil. Is it missing part of the two middle toes on that front foot in the pic?

i seen blue tailed skinks wild in North Carolina...couldnt catch any of the buggars, cause they are sooo fast...but you would be best to stick with crickets/roaches...gutloaded or dusted with calcium. and it will only shed its tail if you grab hold of its tail....so just be sure when handling to be gentle with that area.

He is indeed missing his fingers. I've googled my ass off haha but cannot find ANYTHING. Guess I'll wait and see. He's always going to be my precious Bill.

he is probably missing a couple toes because he didnt have any kind of moisture in the pet store, and his shed constricted his toes and cut them off...
