Hi everyone! First post here 
Last month I bought 5 blue death feigning beetles and loved them so much that I bought 5 more the following week lol. Ive been watching YouTube videos and I'd love to try breeding them but I have a couple of, possibly stupid, questions..
#1 Can BDFB breed with other types of desert beetles or can I keep multiple kinds in the same tank without worrying about "mixed" babies?
#2 Both Bugs in Cyberspace and Aquarimax say to use "compost" on the more humid end of the tank but what exactly is the compost? Like is it a certain soil or a mix of things or...? I don't want to use the wrong stuff and possibly hurt them.
I'm not new to keeping bugs but breeding these guys is new to me and I know it involves alot. These guys go at it like rabbits
so I'm not worried about that part but I do need a little help with some of the other details.
