Thanks everyone! Actually I have no hairs on me from her, believe it or not. While I handled her she stridulated a little at first since she wasn't used to being handled, but after she got a feel for my hands she was cool with it :p

Thanks, Mad Hatter! I really appreciate that :) I love photography, it's one of my passions - tarantulas, pedes, scorpions and ball pythons fall right in line!

Invert photography is a great way for me to combine two of my favorite things {D

And Matt, you're very welcome, honey!! ;)

Hats off to you Sarah! I would most likely itch for a month, if I was able to convince her to cooperate with me :p

You know, blondi are really not that bad! I handled our male too, and he's a big bugger.

Nice T, but I can tell it was recently wild caught because it is in bad need of a molt.....the poor T looks like it was thrown down a flight of stairs.

But I'm sure that in your loving care it will be beautiful in no time. ;)

Ahh I dunno, I held my 10" female and she was stridulating while in my hands. Thats the last time I will hold her, I take the lid off to the container and she's hissing and kicking hairs. Any time I go to do things around the cage she's striking at anything I put in the cage. I still cant believe I held her twice now! Never again I keep looking at those fang's and Im like F#%$ That!

This one stridulated a bit but then she calmed down. Matt went to move her terrarium the day I held her and she went ballistic, freaking out and kicking hairs! {D She never did that for me!

Exo, yeah, she probably was wild-caught. I tried to find a captive-bred female, but that's like trying to find a needle in a haystack :wall: I can't wait to get better photos of her once she molts!!
