new ball python coming today!

well my sister works at a pet store and adopted a ball python, long story short it's turns out he has some bad biteing problems so she giving him to me!!! I have a cage already set up but all I have is sand will that be ok for now? she's bringing him tonight so I have to hurry!

Sand is not recommended, it is irritating to their eyes and nose and it starts to smell bad very fast, as well as there is a risk of impaction if you feed in the cage. Use newspaper or paper towel. Easy to clean and cheap.

Papertowls and Newspaper are the safest most sanitary way to go, not to mention CHEAP!

thank you guys very much, the snake should be here any minute the excitement is dreadful. all i need now is a name....the hardest part:)

awesome! like others said use paper towel or newspaper lol and for a name how about Loki ( saying it like low-key)
