Hi All,
Please check out: Surprising New Species Discovered
New reptiles and amphibians turn up regularly, but, being generally small and inconspicuous, most excite only hard-core herp enthusiasts. In recent days, however, a string of good-sized, colorful and totally unexpected discoveries have drawn attention from even “regular” people. The new species include a spiny, brick-red skink, a sea snake with uniquely-raised scales, and a new family of hard-headed caecilians, those oddest of amphibians. Comments and questions appreciated,

Thanks, Frank

I have to see some of these species in the hobby in the future...
Especially the caecillians. The hobby needs caecillians.

Let me know next time and I'll search a bit; I ran across a few people who work with different species during my zoo years..mostly field research, but we may get lucky, best, Frank

I'm not a fan of aquatic species. :/
Semi-aquatic, terrestrial, arboreal, fossorial- anything but aquatic.
I find the thailand caecillian a brilliant kind. :)
The herp hobby def needs caecillians.
Also, that's a very handsome skink. l want to see that in the hobby too!
