Cool!, I'm going to take a leap though and guess that they are feeding on lichen and algae on the bark. Really cool stuff in India.

Seems to be...I'm looking forward to the next issues of Herpetologica and Herpetological Review...hopefully will be an article with more details. I'm guessing they have sucker-like mouths as do some of the stream-dwelling tadpoles. A co-wokre who does most of his research in India said it is truly amazing how much is still likely waiting to be found...a whole series of frogs in the western Ghats, recently. best, Frank
