The P. metallica arrived today!!! YEAH!

And like I promised, I have pictures. My mom named him (or her) Azule. You can't see the blue a whole lot, but it is there.

P. Metallica is so overrated....haha ( im definately kidding ) That sure is a cute little bugger, I know I would definately like to have on someday...for some reason they always start huge 15 page long threads on this site because they are so cool, or because some people think they are not so cool, but oh well. I'm happy for you, you've got an awesome addition :D ... Make sure to post pictures when he or she gets big. {D Good Luck!

Yes it is a C. fimbriatus.

From what I have read is that they do spin lots of web and are big burrowers. So we'll have a pet web/dirt hole lol. So far it is deep in the burrow that we provided and has shown no sign of wanting to be seen.

The P. metallica was $325 I believe, from Swift's Invertebrates. The C. fimbriatus was a freebie.

Azule has turned out to be a little piggie too......has already had 3 crickets yesterday and two so far today. I actually got to see him hunt too. He didn't wait for the cricket to come to him then ambush, he went out and grabbed it himself. It was really cool to watch.
