New Arrival

I got a new snake via Fedex this morning....a beautiful male banded corn. I think I made a bad first impression, though. When i opened the snake bag he arrived in, I peered inside at about the same time he decided he wanted out of it. Result, one bite on my lip and a very unhappy corn snake. This was the only picture pose he would get into:

Well, he changed dramatically after being left alone to get settled for a bit, but he really doesn't like my camera for some reason. He struck at it numerous times this evening, even though it was a few feet away from him. Guess he didn't want to have another picture taken, but I got one:
