yeah, that spider could use a meal.

and is it just me, or is it rather dull in color also?
These guys start off amlost black with a hint of orange on there abdomins. they turn the bright orange that we all know and love , with age. :cool:

How big is it? I cant wait till mine starts showing some more color. His/her abdomen is showing the orange we all love, but the rest of her is black.. and she has decided she is most definately a burrower..

Beautiful looking Murinus though.. Probably hungry, but gorgeous all the same.

about 2". seems to have eaten its fill right now, though the abdomen still seems a little narrow. oh well. this is one skittish T

mine was like that, they can be nicely fed one day, and if you turn your back for a couple of days they've suddenly shrunk :? ill try to get my male outta his cup n take a few shots, his leg thats growing back, as much as i can see..looks terrible :(

Wait, but he said it was a sling. It could very possibly be freshly molted and still have a small abdomen. My 3 P. murinus slings all had very small abdomens after their molts, and then fattened up a bit as they began eating again and drinking.
