Hi Everyone,
I've been working on a podcast to supplement some of my informational sites and I just did the first tarantula-themed episode so I thought you may want to check it out.

In this segment, I interviewed Dr. Brent Hendrixson of Millsaps College who is currently working in conjunction with other biologists (like Chris H, aka Hamfoto) to help organize and in some cases identify our native Aphonopelma which range in North & South America. Dr. Hendrixson discusses the current state of our native Tarantulas, what threats they face and what it's like to name a new species...

Make sure you give the page plenty of time to load and that you have the latest version of Quicktime installed for proper viewing. You can listen to it directly at the website: www.UrbanJunglesRadio.com or you can download it on iTunes to take it on the go!

Check it out....

Great work, Danny! I really enjoyed all of your podcasts.
Please do more on arachnids and tree boas. I'm still "green" with envy for your beautiful tree boas and their sweet set-ups (not to mention the lush and thriving carnivorous plants terrarium you have!) :worship:

I am working on some great invert-related topics so stay tuned...feel free to ignore the previous podcasts on treeboas unless you are into that sort of thing.

Thank you guys...I really appreciate it.
Thanks for noticing my treeboas Sakura, they are my life's love (next to family of course) and my spiders are always a close second.
