Some nice species you have there! Just wondering where you got your "Haplopelma robustum"?

Was it sold as H. robustum?

The holotype of Haplopelma robustum was lost in WWII, and the description of this species is from my understanding very poor. So nobody knows what the "real" H. robustum is.

Unfortunately, yes.

The spider Dean has bought is often sold as Haplopelma robustum/Lampropelma violaceopedes or similar. As to what it really is - who knows ;)
