I just got my new H incei! All four of them. Total surprise, got a freebie= a B smithi!!!!!! I am hoping to cohab my incei as they are still tiny slings but will see what my intuition tells me. I would hate to loose any of them.

Any of you have incei experiences you want to share? Would love to hear what I have to look forward to from these adorable big-footed wonders. Color me happy!!!! :D {D :D {D

Good buy. Mine are really fast, good eaters. Web the whole cage up. I know a guy from our Dutch forum who keeps them in communal set up. Slings and parents together.

If you do decide to try and keep them communaly, make sure you feed them all first so they will be less inclined to have a snack.

Here is a picture of a sack mate of desertdwellers slings. Its the best picture I managed to get with my crappy camera.

Have you read this report of the most awesome communal setup ever?

http://www.arachnofreaks.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3325

From what i've read, H incei is a truly communal species rather than a species that just tolerates it. Please keep us updated on how it works out. I have a single h incei that is one of my very favorites and i'd like to do a communal setup with someday but i just have so much OTHER stuff i want...

Thats one of the coolest things ive ever seen. Now im thinking about doing it! How much does this species usually go for, and what is the potency of the venom?

I sold my slings for $20, I've seen them more and I've seen them less, really depends on the availability.
I don't know about the venom, not actually heard of anyone getting bite by incei. They are kinda shy/skittish, I think you'd have to almost poke one or grab it to get bit.

The post about the large communal set up is what inspired me to get the four from Waldo. (Such a great seller too) I still have them separate because I have had too much going on to monitor them. I fed them last night and will be putting two together this week. I'll post the progress! Wish me luck!

Do the communal, hon!
We've done this with no fanfare or fatalities...lol {D {D
Just put the slings in the tank you want them in when they are adults and they will sort things out, themselves. Put in lots of food and they will be fine...;)
Don't forget to post pics!!
