New Additions From Tinley Park

Well seeing as its been a week, its about time I post some pics of what I picked up this year at the NARBC. (Wasn't sure were to post this since I got both verts and inverts)

First off, sold as H.minax, but my money is on H.schmidti

One of three 2nd instar B.jacksoni, I was really surpriesd by the way these guys tackle crickets!

A Female L.mucronatus

An XL white-lipped tree frog from Sandfire Dragon Ranch that I had preorderd.

And finally the crem-dela-crem a hatchling cherry head red foot tortoise!

My mom was apsolutly overcome with joy when I surprised her with the little guy for she has always wanted one. ~ Rex

Hey nice additions some of those look familiar,lol. Love watching those B.jax eat they are fiesty as heck!! Nice pickup's on the Redfoot and Whitelip, that's the largest/fattest one I have seen in quite some time. Enjoy your new pets

The Haplopelma doesn't looks like H. schmidti at all. You can rule out H. minax too. I think it's the H. longipes/vonwirthi thing.

Good to know, I just saw the stripes and figured it was H.schmidti. Guess I'll have to do more research.

Congrats on the new additions! That tortoise is really cute. Although picsture IDing is not the best way to go, I'd agree with Hendrik. Here's a picture of H.longipes..
