New addition!

So, I happened upon a 2.5" H. maculata at my favorite LPS this weekend. At $14, I could not pass this one up! She's extremely camera-shy, but I managed to get a picture of her underside.

This is Maxine, and I believe she's a female. Anyone second my opinion, or are these pictures simply not good enough?

Nice find!! the only petstore here that sells anything other than your typical A. semanni, G. rosea, A. avicularia, and the occasional C. fasciatum, has outrageous prices. they had the same size H. maculata for $60. :wall:

VERY nice find!! There isn't a pet store around here that sells anything worth looking at.. unless you want to spend $24.99 on an "older, I don't know how old" male G. rosea.. lol

As for the sexing, it's hard to tell. It looks girly, but it's really hard to see the furrow region. Can you get a clearer pic?
