Hi Guys,

I got this fella today, It's an Avicularia sp. And over the weekend i bought a hexagonal tank with a light hood (changing colour hood). I added some bogwood and plants to make it look attractive. And i'm quite please with the result.

Very nice setup. I have something that is close to that for my Avic. Is that a red light for night viewing? Congrats on the new T!

awesome looking set up. i've seen a few more pics of those hex tanks lately..i love them. especially like how you have the light built in right there. i always swap out this one bulb on my table with a red one for night viewing heh.

Hi guys,

The light on the hood is actually LED lights, It slowly changes colour from white to green to red. But it looks great at night. It does'nt seem to disturb the Avic either. Makes me wish i had a spider room! then i can have some amazing T Setups!.

I've got a adult female G.Pulchra arriving tomorrow. I can't wait, She's just had a molt during xmas and she looks really pretty appparently.

My ventilation is at the back of the hood. It has settled in nicely now, Lastnight it was going nutts walking everywhere laying webbing so i think it likes it new home.
