This week my girl suprised me with the T i have been wanting ever since we got into this hobby. A 1" Greenbottle Blue. It arrived this morning while i was at work so she brought it into work for me to see. Im so happy. I never thought Ts could be so addictive.

GBBs can be BIG OLE PIGS!! Mine doesn't hesistate for a minute, she jumps on a cricket equal to her size before I even get the lid back on!! Congrats, and have fun watching her change as she grows! They're gorgeous!

She is awesome i am so glad we got one like i said i have been a fan from the begining. she is fiesty i cant wait for it to moult and change colors i wanted one real small so i could watch it grow big we also have 2 more sligs (haitain brown & salmon pink) and a 2" rio grande gold i think that is half the fun of spiders is that they are always changing and growning so it is kinda like a whole new pet sometimes. Just one of my joys of the hobbie

I have a mature female but cant find a male anywhere to breed her with! But ill say one thing,feed them up and watch how fast they grow its un believable

Put a ring on that finger is right. My wife, Jill, is the best. when I met her she was interested in the tarantula I had. I wanted to get more and we went shopping and she saw the GBB and fell in love. It is great to have a common interest. We ordered one off the internet and it is probably one of our top 3 favs. Ours is out and about most of the time. Ive almost got to handle her but shes still really skittish. She is ok with some contact though. As a sling, I have had her on me. Give the GBB an arboreal/burrow set-up and it will amaze you.
I think i am lucky to have a girl like her. She is good to me. This is our hobby. Something we can do together we are working on a huge collection and try to breed rose hairs right now been at it more than a year now. this board is so awesome! so many knowledgeable people here nice to meet people that show as much intersest in this hobby as we do. Its hard to find Ts around where we live we drive to Chicago and go to the Lee Watson swap meet. Art Cerda was there last time we went he is such a good guy cant say enough about him and his Ts. thumbs up to Art.
