I’m becoming more and more confident that this is in fact Nephila Clavipes – can anybody confirm this?

From what I've heard it's an undescribed species from west africa and it ranges from senegal-Nigeria. I think it's quite similar to Nephila senegalensis.

I have also bred this species and is waiting for the eggsack to "hatch".

Very interesting! But i have to say - it looks pretty similar to N. Clavipes... But as far as i know Clavipes usualy have amore yellowish abdomen...
I'm pretty torn.. I guess i have to wait for an expert to turn up before i'll have a certain answer :)
