It's not a stick insect, but a horseheaded grasshopper: family Proscopiidae.

Hello,
Yes it is not a Phasmid but a Proscopid sp.

The pic is of a female, do you have more???

if so they pretty much eat most plants.

In captivity they like Bramble,Guava,Rose,Pyrocantha.
females need a deep container with humid peat moss to ovoposit.

Room temp is good and 60-70% humidity is fine. They are diurnal insects so they need a light period of 12 hours, regular day cycle.

How can you tell if it's male or female? Do you keep them?
