Weird pink frog thing. Looks naked or something, I haven't found a good picture yet but this YT video looks like it is the one I mean:

The place I go to buy cockroaches/crickets has a lot of other feeder animals, they have many of these frogs. I am wondering whether or not it is suitable to feed to my hognose (H. nasicus). I'm currently feeding it pinky mice, but when the mice start to get bigger I am worried they will hurt my snake. Even the pinky mouse takes a long time to die, so I want to find a more suitable meal. They only sell live feeders, no frozen mice.

It's an albino African clawed frog . Not suitable for feeding . Hognose snakes usually do better with smaller food items pinks,
hoppers small mice will be just fine . I found that my hognose ate the best when I put him in a small paper bag with the pink and closed it up at the top and put back in his tank so you can do other things and he won't escape . I have had quit a few hognose snakes and this feeding method always works well . You can also purchase frozen rodents on line . Always be careful with
frogs as a food source many of them can be quite toxic . Hope that helps .

Yes, that helps a lot thank you. I guess I'll stick with the mice. Not good news for my girlfriend as she is terrified of mice and won't even look at the snake if she knows the lump in its belly is a mouse.
