Need help identifying spider

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this spider:
(Location South Carolina)
Size in picture is about 1-1/2 inches

That's a beautiful spider. Sorry, but I don't know what it might be.

I do have a question, though: how did you incorporate the link to that picture into your message so that the picture downloaded automatically when I opened your post (as opposed to my having to click on a link within your post to take me to the picture)? I've seen other people do the same thing. I know it must be something different from adding an attachment to your post, because that limits you to 100kb.

Anyway, I'd like to be able to do that with my posts.

You need a website to host your picture. It could be your ISP (I use mine, which is Comcast).
Once you upload your picture, copy then paste the URL like this:

Thanks. Just happens I recently set up a web page with some of my spider pictures. I'll give it a try.

Nice shots of the brown widow, BTW, in your other thread.

It looks almost like a brown recluse with the marking on the carprace but the shape of the spider itself looks otherwise.

Looks very much like Kukulcania hibernalis the southern house spider (now beeing sold over here)
