Anyone ever hear of something called a Giant Horned Dragon Lizard???

Their not really "giants" as the name dictates but I'm sure that's what their called... I've been looking for a breeder to maybe get a baby from. My girlfriend saw one in a pet shop and fell in love with it so now I'm on a mission.

They kinda look like a deep green color with the physical characteristics of an iguana. They also only have a very distinctive row of spikes that come off the base of the dorsal side of the neck that run a short distance down the spine to maybe just the shoulder blades.

Anyone ever see one??? :?

OHHH YEA THATS IT!!!

Thanks for your help with the ID!!!

You said you don't know anyone who breeds them... does anyone else maybe know of someone? :?

Pet shop wanted $35.00 for one... I would just rather buy captive breed than from a commercialized pet shop.

Mt. Horned lizard

Check kingsnake.com. They usually have them listed. In fact I think there are a few juveniles listed now. Most are wild caught. Some are occasionally hatched from eggs laid by the wild moms. I don't know of many breeding them since they are still so cheap and available wild caught.
