It's best to keep Ts in an enclosure that's 2.5X by 1.5 to 2X where X is the diagonal legspan of the T. 8/2.5 = about 3 inches across. So go for something that's 2 to 3 inches across. Maybe a juvenile T of your choosing but you'll have to move it to a bigger enclosure when it's mature. Or possibly a C elegansRecently, my jumping spider passed away, and while it's been a bit of a sad experience, I've been thinking about possibly using the enclosure for something new so it doesn't go to waste. It's a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm Exo Terra Nano enclosure—still in great condition and well-equipped.
That said, I'm not sure I want to get another jumping spider right now. It feels a bit too soon, almost like I'd just be replacing the one I had. So, here's my question:
Are there any species of tarantula that could live comfortably in a 20cm cube enclosure like this?
