Recently, my jumping spider passed away, and while it's been a bit of a sad experience, I've been thinking about possibly using the enclosure for something new so it doesn't go to waste. It's a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm Exo Terra Nano enclosure—still in great condition and well-equipped.
That said, I'm not sure I want to get another jumping spider right now. It feels a bit too soon, almost like I'd just be replacing the one I had. So, here's my question:
Are there any species of tarantula that could live comfortably in a 20cm cube enclosure like this?
It's best to keep Ts in an enclosure that's 2.5X by 1.5 to 2X where X is the diagonal legspan of the T. 8/2.5 = about 3 inches across. So go for something that's 2 to 3 inches across. Maybe a juvenile T of your choosing but you'll have to move it to a bigger enclosure when it's mature. Or possibly a C elegans

I hear you. Well like they say, "it isn't the quantity, it's the quality" I've had to part with some T's and it stinks, but being content with what ya have is good. It's nice to stop and smell the roses from time to time.
My Ts are getting old some are 14+ others 11+ I only have 4 slings and one juvy. I recently lost one.
