Need Asian forest scorpion ID help!

Got this guy today! Sooo docile basically puppy tame!.. Hairy stinger, super smooth giant pedipalps with very very little granulation anywhere. almost solid black telson. Labeled as a “giant Asian forest scorpion”, I would like to know which specific type this is and what the scientific name is!
oh.. and he’s absolutely gigantic…

That looks about right! I was at a HERPS show today and had to do a double take when I saw him. Lolll I’ve never seen such large pinchers on a scorpion till I saw him…I’m more afraid of him pinching me than stinging

I agree with H. silenus. I also think male but the chelae are hard to see.

Wow, that's a huge specimen. It looks like mine, who is a Heterometrus silenus male. He's just a juvenile though, so yours dwarfs him.

This is my new fav scorpion species. He is so calm and hasn’t raised his tail to me ever… now I need a female for him I suppose
