I can't say I'm impressed. They managed to remotely manipulate the macro function pf spider legs. And that's all they are going to get out of this. Obviously a spider does far more than extend and retract the entire leg. Hundreds, even thousands of micro functions go on as well. that their primitive utilizing a spider as a hydraulic servo motor cannot possibly employ. Just watch an orb weaver build it's web, precisely placing the spinnerets where they are needed.
One small step above electro stimulation of neurons that cause the extremity of a cadaver to jerk and twitch.

I imagine we paid for all the cocaine and strippers for this study too.... There was cocaine involved, right? I know the shrimps, mice, and spiders don't get it all...
