I was wondering if there are any website that you guys have found on the natural habitats of tarantulas in general. I've always wanted to know how these spider behave and the locations they choose to live in. I try my best to keep these spiders in a natural setting, yet never get much of anything on these arachnids in the wild. I figure raising these T's in a near natural enironment must increase their lifespans and I'm sure they are happier too. If there are sites I should check out let me know please!!!!!
Thanks again.

You can't really describe the natural habitat of tarantulas "in general." Each species has a different natural habitat - ranging from arid deserts in Mexico to the jungles of Asia.

Are you interested in a certain species?

Again, there is no "general" habitat other than "outside." :)

There are loads of pages on tarantulas, many with pictures of them in their natural habitat. However, the habitat is very different depending on the species being photographed. The natural habitat of P. regalis is very different than the natural habitat of A. henzti.

A page on Poecilotheria would show the jungles of India, while a page on Aphonopelma would mainly show the deserts and "scrublands" of the US (and other countries).
