Name the bug

I need some help identifying this gorgeous beetle. Any and all help will pe much appreciated.

Looks like an elephant beetle (Strategus aloeus)

Hello,
that is a Megasoma elephus or Megasoma occidentalis. It depends on where it was collected.
Really nice specimen, that adult male is. I would love it for my collection.

awesome, thanks guys... now another question... How would one go about obtaining one and what should i look out for if buying one... I'm new to this hobby and don't want any "bad" bugs... Id feel so rotten if i was the cause of a short life...
And also, between Megasoma elephus and Megasoma occidentalis, they are both abviously gorgeous, but how do tey differ...
are there temprament differences and such things?
