I'd like to know the differences between the two Neoholothele sp as I have an incei myself and have recently seen a Neoholothele fasciaauringra for sale but to me they look nearly identical. Could anyone who has kept both of these enlighten me? :)

@Charliemum, any comparison pictures?

you would need to look at their descriptions in the WSC for anything else

in the pictures i have seen the stripes on the opisthosoma are a little more defined in N. fasicaaurinigra

They are not identical in looks. I’ve owned both.
Fasc colors are far more brighter!!!!!!! No incei looks like them.

Thanks! I did notice the legs seem more greenish on the Fasc. Are they much different in husbandry?
It’s the abdomen that is more noticeable too. They are called the Bumble Bee for a reason 😂 Normal incei don’t come close to that at all!

Basically the same, fasc a bit more delicate though.

N. fasciaaurinigra has a bright golden bumblebee coloration on the abdomen and has a slight green tint on the legs.

N. incei lacks this.

The price tag is quite different too 😇🤣
That’s what puts me off 🤣🤣🤣

I have the gold incei and it’s beautiful @Tinyspiderzz I would recommend. I have seen the regular Incei version too I think its personal prefernece which you like best out of normal vs gold. But I haven’t seen the fasciaaurinigra like @TheraMygale says, its too expensive to justify the purchase for me

Can't put a price on the joy they bring when you see them pics really do not capture their sheer shining beauty 😊
