my violet chinchilla

hey everyone. this is my standard violet chinchilla named carl. just got him not too long ago, and hes already learning tricks. i taught him to balance on a tube like a circus animal :clap:

they take a long time to warm up to you. people always say you have to bond with them for them to even not be afraid of you. mine lets me hold him now and stuff. hes not really afraid of me anymore. you gotta teach them stuff. theyre pretty smart and capable.
