Last pictures look very hot. What do you keep in tanks with sand ?

If you are refering to the 2 small kritter keepers on the lower shelf.... Those are crickets. It's not sand though.... Its egg carton. Lol although now that I looked again, I does kinda look like sand in the picture! {D

Very nice! Are the rope lights just for effect or do you use them to give extra heat to your T's at night?

you should buy one of those things that lets you like control the way the lights flash, so u can make 'em look like flashing lights or something.

cool setups. what size are those longer glass tanks? they look like 5 gallon...but a nice shape for space saving.

The lights are not for heat. I have a oil filler radiator for that. The rope light is so that I can observe them at night, without disturbing them.

Although, the rope light does put out a little bit of heat. If I wasn't using the heater, The rope light alone would probably keep temps in the tanks at 70.
