Hey everyone, just wanted to share my recently self-published book on Blurb. It's nothing major, just lots of photo's and a little bit of basic information for people who aren't in the hobby. I haven't made it available for the public to purchase it, but I have ordered a copy for myself and my friend. It's taken me months to finish it, so I'm quite pleased with the result
I would just like a bit of feedback on it from here? I tried to be as plain as possible and did not give false information, I also provided links and sources for people who would be curious about the T hobby.
The aim was just to make a photo book. But then it kind of became a mission to sow a seed in peoples minds to make them realize arachnids aren't all that bad. Not so long ago I took some T's into work for charity to let people see what they're really like, surprisingly all the customers that initially went 'Urghhhh... for goodness sake what's wrong with you girl?!' I got talking to and they went away wanting one themselves! Of course I wasn't promoting the hobby to half wits, just informing them of the true beauty of these creatures.
So I thought to myself, maybe it's not that hard to 'convert' people into arachnoholics!
Anyway, here's the link; it previews the whole book. I'm thinking about doing a second one, maybe with more background info on the species, etc. JUST LETTING EVERYONE KNOW: This isn't an official book that's going to mislead people, it's just an on the side project merging tarantulas with my photography, I don't plan on making loads of money out of it or anything.
