My super-fat chaco

I just took these tonight, they're the first pics I have of my little Ozymandias! Took them during a rehouse...which ended up not working out. He wouldn't come out of the vial, I had to take out the coconut hide and leave the vial there, but then the substrate on that end wasn't high enough...a fall from the wall there would kill my baby horribly (and he was already trying to climb), so he's back in his deli cup until his next molt at least.

Ah well. At least I got some pics out of it!

I dunno, I got him 1/04 as a freebie from Swift's. I think he was about 1" or so then, somewhere between that and 1.5" (I suck at measurements). He's molted once since then, but didn't gain too terribly much. Did get the pretty colors, though!

1/04, so just a couple months. The order was my first Ts ever, I got one of his 2.5" GBBs (sexed as a female! Yes!) and a little $4 L. parahybana too. I may get more someday, but right now I'm busy enjoying them.

you'll end up getting more in time. I stared out with one I caught while in Tx almost 3 yrs ago, and now i have slighty over 3o T's plus many other inverts.

my chaco had a huge rump up until she moulted&now her rump is more porportioned to her body. she still eats like a pig though.

holly cow, i thought i was over feeding my T when its rump got that big too, its ok though its just healthy, and feedin good. this will make it speed it motabolizim up with will make it molt and grow faster. good luck

My chaco is my best eater.

And it is growing fast, but its abdomen has never gotten that huge. Yours looks like a tick that is about to pop
I got mine as a freebie and it is one of my favorite t's.

I have found with my little Chacho that it takes very little feeding to produce those wide load rearends. It will always slim down with a molt but one or two crickets and bam.....south beach diet no more.

Another fatty joins the ranks

This is my Chaco I got from swift's on 1-11-06, he/she is only 4 days out of molt in this picture. Its been around 2 weeks since he molted and hes a fatty again too , I only feed him twice a week but the butt keeps getting bigger.
