Nice pics!! I think our T's show a huge change in colour premoult/postmoult compared to most other countries, your S.plumipes pics are great evidence of that change.....

Not very hairy on leg IV that Selenotypus Plumpies Steve that would be a real one then from the type locus i guess :) still beautiful spiders all the same.

Hi Fry,
That's right, the above spider was collected by Jase at the typicus locus. Raven has examined the type material and found that the fringe on met IV is notional, compared to what we thought was the real deal. To confirm this, Andy S. is sending me his drawings of the type material (once he gets back from his little holiday down in Crete) :)

Yeah i was really impressed with the colour change, it was like i had a whole other T. Im just disapointed that she had that infection and died before we could figure out what to do to cure her.

LOL yeah I still have her in the freezer for you to do a T autopsy :)
I guess we will get around to sending them sooner or later
