Amazing videos . I absolutely love monitor lizards. I have kept Savannahs, Water monitors and Blue tail monitors. They are probably the smartest reptiles out there. I wish I had time and space to get a baby that will grow to be a "tame" giant but alas, I dont.

Just as a sidenote, I wouldn't feed any of my animals with wild caught insects. They carry parasites and are subjected to various chemicals. You can harm your little friend there.

No worries, I don't have this savannah monitor anymore. But when I did have him, the place where I lived pesticides are illegal. He was healthy as can be.
