Are you blind?? There are sections for MANY different types of animals on this site. Iguanas have spines, hence the "Not so Spineless Wonders" title of this section of the forum.

Go crawl in a hole, TROLL.

Leila I think your iguana is pretty, looks like he's got alot of that orange hue to him. Very nice.

Yes, he was a rescue. A lady's boyfriend bought her Precious as a baby from a feed store renowned for it's animal neglect. He ended up getting sick and they nursed him back to health. When he was a year old, they gave him to me because they were scared of him. All he was getting to eat was a big plate of lettuce. He's three now and his growth is probably stunted from lack of nutrition. He's also missing a toe on his foot from some unknown injury.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but that last post really stirred my emotions..

My ex-roommate also had a rescue who had been fed nothing but iceberg & romaine lettuce... Was severely underweight and was completely missing her lower jaw also for unknown reasons.. Broke my heart to see her struggling to eat every week..
(reason why your post reminded me)

Kudos to you for giving him a loving home and understanding and meeting his needs.

Some people don't seem to understand the complete and sometimes exotic needs of an exotic pet.

Handsome guy. When I was younger, I had a beautiful female that outgrew the caging that I could provide for her. I was able to find someone who could provide for her better. They are great animals.
