You sure it's a death curl? Maybe she's just stressed and "scrunched up". In a death curl the legs are pulled under the body.

Try putting a drop of water on the chaco. Or put a drop of water on the subsrtate and gently position the chaco over it so it can drink..
Hope it pulls through

Do you have any ideas why your spider is in the death curl?

So sorry to hear that. Next time you could try an emergency care system most of use in that case. Get a deli container and put some soft paper toweling in it with moisture but not soaking. Then cover her with same and lid. Put her in a warm place and wait a day or so. Sometimes they pull through. Other times...... Crazy hobby we have. Sometimes they just go through no fault of our own.

i had her in a deli container half on a tank heater (small one)
and kept it moist
but no paper towel

i don't know that it would of made that much of a difference tho
o well my other 5 ts. soon to be 12
are doing great
and i have a lasiodora parahybana that is growing like a weed!

Next time don't do the heater, it's possible she got cooked. Heaters are generally a no-no for tarantulas, particularly when placed underneath the enclosure (rather than on the side) and in a small enclosure like a deli cup.
