Hi.I have a couple of pigeons annd i would like to make updates on my pigeon collection.Well firstly my baby pigeon about 3week old, started walking around the cage.I will provide a pic soon.

Got a big suprise, i saw the parents feed the baby tomorrow i will try to provide a pic.Does anyone know any free software from the net the compress pics?

Nice they are also quite awesome.Well a little update, I figured instead of had gotten a female and male, i got 2 males and i have a wood pigeon widow but they are different species so kind of bad news.NEW UPDATES TO COME.

Is the keeping of pigeons hard? I've never kept any birds but I find pigeons and doves fascinating!

I don't really like photographing them but i will try the next brood the pigeon is now feeding on its self.LOL.And no keeping pigeons is not hard at all as long as you love them

Today i saw the baby actually eating and drimking by him/her self its so CUTE.Now i have 8 pigeons lol.

HOORAY MY PIGEONS(SAME COUPLE) LAID EGGS i am nearly out of space for them.LOL.

Just curious - what's your plan for the babies? My diamond doves haven't successfully raised a clutch yet, but I do worry about the speed with which doves and pigeons multiply. :) I own quail as well, but because we use the eggs as food and only hatch when we need replacement brooders, it's not a problem with them.

Good question I actually do not know all I know is they are messanger pigeons and I LOVE THEM. I might sale a few if i do not have any space.

Today when I was feeding my pigeons i saw 2 eggs in the nest.I will provide a pic very soon!

Anyone have to deal with a pigeon or dove being aggressive towards its cage mates? What was your solution other than permanently sparating them?

Still have the problem here!I just got them in a bigger cage and you might no want too many males.

probably the mating ritual as mine seems to fight a few weeks before they drop:) GOOD LUCK. REMEMBER A NEST IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT.

Hey guys if I was to sell a messanger pigeon would anyone in south africa be interested?Just checking so if I have too many i can sell/give some.

Looks like i have 1 wood pigeon and 7 race pigeon one race pigeon was hatched in its current cage is it ok to let it fly free?

Hey all looks like these pigeons are breeding machines,today I had another pigeonlet hatching lol:)
