Well, my rescued T is doing well, eats normally and things like that.
I gave her a meal worm and she is just sitting here with it in her
mouth. Just holding it, not eating it, nothing. All of my other T's
seem to be affraid of them and run off, not this one.........yet!
Do you think she will eat it, or just kill it and drop it?
If I give her a cricket she mashes it like crazy and jams it in her
mouth(well, 4 or 5 crickets) She eats them like their candy:D

I found that some of my tarantulas played with their mealworms the first time they ate them. I am guessing that it could be because they have a much thicker exoskeleton than a cricket and it is just a different thing for them to be eating mealworms. I am probably wrong.

Yeah, I kinda thought something like that to.
She's just sitting here on the desk with it in her mouth.
Like a tooth pick after a good steak!

She's in a small critter box, but I have the top open:eek:
I'm still trying to figure her out, she's different. Not at all
like my other rosie!

I think you will find that every single Rosie has its quirks. They are one of the most unpredictable tarantula species. Just when you think you have them figured out, they will throw you a curveball.

Very true. ANd it is not a pleasant feeling from what I hear when you are on the wrong end of those fangs. I have been fortunate enough to avoid being bitten in my tenure as a tarantula keeper.
