Yes they are a pair. The female looks like a not very common but known to happen mutation in B.dubia, though the pronotum does resemble a Byrsotria sp. as though it were an integrade of some kind. I do not believe Blaptica and Byrsotria can possibly breed though so don't get the wrong idea. If this is a trick question and that were a female Byrsotria fumigata it has the similar mutation in that the wings are long.

To make an analogy: Once in a great while a human being is born with both male and female genitalia. What you have a pic of is a roach equivalent of a Blaptica dubia female that has recessive male traits.

no not a trick question...i seem to have odd stuff in my 1 roach bin...
i guess i'll seperate these also and see what happens...

They both look like males to me (photo quality not withstanding). I don't see anything that suggests a gyandromorph.

After taking a better (and not late-night) look at the photos I have to agree with Orin. Two males, one is just a little odd formed. My previous post was wrong.
