My newt

So for like 2 years I’ve had a Spanish ribbed newt at my mums house, and he was a healthy boy(second photo), but my mum and I got into fights and I had to go to my dads full time and after some time my newt was being treated poorly(first photo) (hes still at my mums) and she wants my money for my own pet. I pray my newt comes back to me ok but I doubt it.

Sorry you are having to deal with this. Families are hard, especially split ones. It’s a cute newt! Can you do chores for your mom when you visit to earn the newt back? Or chores for your dad to earn $ to buy it back from your mom? (Yes it does sound ridiculous to have to do that but sometimes it’s worth it just to be able to move on and find peace.) Or if you really don’t want to buy it back maybe tell her to rehome it for you. Take the power away from it all. I wish I had seen this posting sooner I would have replied sooner. Hugs!
