Here are some pictures of my two Macrothele palpator and two Macrothele sp. "Thailand" I received yesterday. Here you can see how small they are and how they webbed up within minutes.

Macrothele sp "thailand" has been reported to build trapdoors as well.

Thank you for the pictures! I’m receiving my palpator tomorrow. Helpful to know how small it will actually be.

One interesting thing I discovered when doing research is that the species appears to have been moved to a new genus in 2022, called Vacrothele. It is still under the Macrothelidae family.
All the store online have it listed as Macrothele, so it’s probably one of the esoteric name conventions that hasn’t taken hold in the hobbby yet.
