I just made a huge splurge, can't believe my husband let me, specially cause we're broke lol!

It started with just this one, a female Kofa Mountain Rosy Boa. She tried to eat me when I took her out, so there aren't many pictures of her.

Then I found out he had this one available, so I had to have him, a male anery Kenyan Sand Boa. He is so cute and little! He seemed a little nervous when I took him out of the deli cup, but he didn't try to bite.

And these two, I'm so excited to have! I have been looking for one, and when I found out there was a pair available, well I couldn't say no! They are just beautiful.
Female Rough Scale Sand Boa, was totally calm and docile. I hope she stays that way. She has a bit of shed stuck on her, but we'll sort that out.

And the male, he was also super calm coming out of the package, I just love these guys! The female will be ready to breed next year apparently.

And I don't think I ever posted a picture of my ball python, so here is a picure of Mojo, the Mojave Ball Python. I got him a little while ago, he was a screamin' deal I couldn't pass up. A very nice boy.

Not sure what that means?

Ball pythons are known to do better in rubbermaid type enclosures. They offer more security than an aquarium, and they hold humidity better.
He was bigger than what I was told so the enclosure I set up for him was a bit small. He is however eating like a champ, which ball pythons won't do if they are stressed at all. I do have a bigger bin waiting for him, but I didn't want to move him again so soon after getting him.

Oh, and thank you David!

He hides in cardboard box. Hollow logs are like 10 bucks.

Laura's setup is pretty much identical to the type of setups I've used for snakes for years....works great.

great pick ups.

BTW, logs are the worst hides ever!! especially for ball pythons.

Congrats on the Rough Scale Sand Boas Laura. Guess I won't have to keep my eyes open for them anymore!:) They look awesome. Good luck breeding them next year.
