have you set it's cage up yet? Have you held it?

Yeah, I set it up already. Its just chilling close to the glass and stuff.... should i put the heat lamp on or not? Ill take pictures whenever i have a chance to buy batteries for my camera.... late.

During the day put the heat lamp on. Then at night turn it off.

Is that a colombian red tail? I own a central american boa. As for the heat lamps use a 60 watt incandesent bulb during the day and a 25 watt night glo bulb at night. This at least is how I have mine set up. During the day I keep her at about 90 f and at night it drops to 70-80. This has seemed to be ideal for him. If you have any questions please ask.
