Went to the Texas hot show (venemous reptiles) and was able to pick up a Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix, unfortunately was $20 shy of having the cash to pick up an albino monoculed cobra. Oh well next show I'll get one. I'll try to get pics up soon.

they did have some C.cerastes I wanted but could not guarantee they were eating mice so I passed. There were some Bitis gabonica rhinoceros I wanted as well ( I bred Bitis gabonica gabonica in New Mexico for a few years) but the wife nixed it until our son is out of the house (3 more years). The copperhead is only 15 inches but I'll get it to full size and possibly bred them as well. I am hoping to get out and find the Trans-Pecos copperhead sometime this summer or fall.
