This itty-bitty went for a walk on my arm when I was sitting on the back porch eating lunch yesterday, so I took that to mean it wanted to come inside. It's a very young jumper (second instar?), could be Phidippus audax or Phidippus johnsoni, both of which are common here. Hopefully I'll be able to raise it up and find out!
Sorry the pics are a little blurry - it's so small my camera had a hard time focusing on it even in macro mode. It's roughly 3-4mm legspan.
It has webbed itself into a little hammock at the top of the thimble-sized vial I put it in, so maybe it'll molt soon.
