I'm totally hooked on my Crested Geckos, and I recently decided to expand my gecko collection and get a Leopard. Since I know some nice folks who breed geckos (Gecko_keeper and his family) I was able to do a little trading for this cute little baby Leopard Gecko. I especially like its pale colors and freckles! I wanted one that looked a bit unusual.

I know her pattern's gonna change, but she has such a cool 8 marking on her back that looks like an infinity symbol...thinking of names that might have something to do with that. :)

Awesome new Gecko Katy.
What, how much and how often do you feed these?

She just eats dubia. They need shake-and-baked bugs 2-3 times a week or they need to have a bowl of calcium/vitamin powder available for them to use as they want. Apparently, that's it. She ate 4 small dubia last night. Supposedly they should eat about every day to every other day as babies. I feed her every day because I have the time, but when she's bigger, I'll back her off a bit.

I'm new to these guys, but since I got her, I've done a bit of reading and I think I'm doing okay.

By the way, Frank, the crested babies are doing great! :)

When you feed her katy do you dust the dubia with calcium powder? Because leapord geckos can get (metallic bone disease)

Oh btw cute lil guy i would name him Pueblo =D

If you read my post, I do dust my roaches, thanks.

Also, it's METABOLIC, not metallic.

Third, it was incubated at "female" temperatures so it's more than likely a girl, and "Pueblo" is a little too masculine.

haha It DOES look like a peanut on her back. :) I think I'm gonna go with "Lava" though because her markings also look like lava lamp blobs. heh I think that's cute!

She's a cutie! Do you know what color morph she is? I have a juvenile female leo I named Princess Butterscotch.

As far as I know, she's just normal. She's kind of light colored, but apparently doesn't have anything spectacular going on in her genetics.
