If you don't have a problem with it, then by all means, keep doing it. But I recommend taking a good close look at all of your sponges, and unless you clean them out daily with some soap or something, then they are filled with bacteria. Every time we get shipments in at my store, they come with sponges, and 9 out of 10 times they are filled with mold, bacteria, mites, etc. Don't take any of this the wrong way, all I mean to say is that sponges are a bad (and completely pointless) idea.Brazilian whiteknee , Acanthoscurria geniculata
I got it from a gentleman that was going in for surgury and was not sure he was going to make it.Im not sure about the problems with the sponges I have had no problems as of yet in any of the other tanks.
