He/she is really beautiful, but I think that you should remove that sponge from cup. It's not needed and can be dangerous for your T'.
Good luck with it.

Yep, a sponge is a bacteria warehouse. It can also mold pretty quickly and I don't think you would want a T drinking mold.

BTW that's a nice A. genic!!

Well, sponge is bacteria breeding ground as kupo969 already said, and if that was my genic sponge would be first thing I would remove from there. Never the less beautiful spidey.

If you don't have a problem with it, then by all means, keep doing it. But I recommend taking a good close look at all of your sponges, and unless you clean them out daily with some soap or something, then they are filled with bacteria. Every time we get shipments in at my store, they come with sponges, and 9 out of 10 times they are filled with mold, bacteria, mites, etc. Don't take any of this the wrong way, all I mean to say is that sponges are a bad (and completely pointless) idea.

Yep--what he said. Get rid of the sponge, no reason for it. Healthy looking Genic you have there! ...you know it may grow to 8" legspan right..?...if its too much to handle you are more than welcome to send it to me! ;) :D
