Here is my new Female T.Blondi...I got from Jansen's exotics. I must say adam is a proffesional in every aspect of this bussiness....his shipping is great, he include heat packs, large container with warm towels so she wouldnt get jostled around. He also packed the spider with newspaper and everything was sealed inside a styrofoam box....he also included a freebie (Nhandu chromatus). This is a very healthy T

Here she is telling me who is boss

She finaly settled down

Finaly I am in my enclosure

Telling me she is still the boss in her enclosure

Congrats:clap: !
Thanks, I'm so glad I found a female. She's already eating and it's her first day. I have a 125gal tank split and the female Salmon Pink on the other side of the enclosure wasn't too pleased with her new neighbor - she was at the tank divider threatening the new arrival. It was a draw and was fairly entertaining. I may have to add moss to the divider so they can't see each other - I don't want one of them getting hurt attacking the plexiglass. Here is a side by side pic of the rough-looking male and the good-looking new female.

Which one do you like? I know my choice. (I'm dealing with Jansen's from now on).

It wasn't so much the way he looked...it was the way he was acting. He was un-responsive, I could put tongs underneath him and he wouldnt flinch...he wouldn't walk he was severly dehydrated. He was falling down and actualy rolled down a small hill. He was half dead....I realy felt sorry for him....I wasn,t going to watch him die.

She loves her enclosure and guards her den with her life.....I was misting the enclosure and she attacked the mist. Thanks for your suggestions, in the last thread I am glad I went with the Blondi.;)

Adam sold her to me as 6"...I measured her not all the way stretched out she is over 8" and only 1 year 2months old....she is going to be huge. She is a eating machine....I have a feeding tube in her den and she has figured out that is where the cickets come out and now is puting her palps on them....she ate 15 crickets with in 30min...I said to myself no more so I cut her off. Then this morning I found her trying to get to a mouse that was outside of her tank on a table (it was for my snake).....so I gave her that., and you guessed it she wants more but is not getting anymore.
