I have wanted a B. boehmei since I used to keep T's in the past over 10 years ago. I am super sensitive to urticating hairs; none-the-less, Brachy's remain my favorite Genus. I knew B. boehmei's were supposed to have quite a reputation for being especially grumpy hair kickers but what Brachy collection is complete without this beauty?
I have been very good and not bought any T's since last year. I saw this gorgeous lady in the classifieds and had to have her. I bought this beauty from Nerri1029 (Mike) and couldn't be more pleased. In fact, I owe him a raving review! Not only is this T absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way... She didn't even kick any hair off her freshly molted bum during her trip from NY to southern CA! She also didn't kick any hairs when I transferred her to her new home. She immediately checked out her new digs from top to bottom a couple of times and then settled in on the top of her coconut hide. I dropped in a couple crickets for this little lady and WHAM!!! She nailed all 3 and happily ate them from the top of her coconut while doing the happy dance. I was only bummed that my camera batteries were not charged by then. This girl is so awesome; she rivals the top spot held by my big B. smithi girl (who is also very mellow and doesn't kick hairs!)
I will be posting more pics of my new prize in the near future. I just couldn't wait to share this girlie with everyone! I am so pleased with this beautiful T and can only look forward to her growing bigger and having babies one day!
