Heh, like the others, when I saw the title I thought "Who the hell wants a salmon for a pet?" Wrong kind of salmon. Heh, that's a purdy snake there. For some reason, the name 'Zipper' comes to mind when looking at the connecting saddles.

Ern,
Im happy to see that you like your snake, it is gorgious and I know you wont regret getting it. My Salmon is my best investment, and I love it to death. It was a great pleasure and honor to sell it to you and I know that you will give it a great home. Best of luck to you.

Sincerely,

Brandon

Heh heh. Here I was thinking this thread was about fish and I was going to jabber away about how I've rescued three lovely little Bettas from the Wal-Mart Pet section.

Haha. I noticed the thread at the time, immediately thought of snakes, and wondered "is it a super salmon?"

As for scientific name, I think that's a BCI and not a BCC. Boa constrictor imperator instead of boa constrictor constrictor. I could be wrong and it could be some sort of odd cross, but I doubt it.

Sizewise, you'd kinda have to know the locale, and if it was male or female.

BCI's are smaller than BCC's, and the size range (of BCI, I think) can be from 3 feet to 11 feet (it depends on locale and males are smaller than females).

Three feet is kinda rare, usually the lower end is about 5 feet.

I think BCC's run from about 5-6 feet to 14 feet or so.

Nice looking snake btw.

I ve been around.

I've been treating for Hep.C. Nothing seems to work :(

Anyway thanks for asking about me.
Here's Zipper, He's about 4.5" now.
I also have 11 other snakes. I'll post them when I can find the energy.

Hey, Ernie, sorry to hear you've been feelin' poorly. Herpin' and Ts must go together as I have five new ones since I saw you last. 1.1 ball pythons, 1.1 emerald tree boas, and a 1.0 caulkers cay boa. Hope you get back to full health soon. Post those pics when you can, I will too. John
