Hey Kizzywhizzy,

Just a suggestion. I would find a way to turn your Kritter Keeper on it's side to house this guy. Avics are arboreal so they need an enclosure that is tall but don't need much floor space (because they won't be down on the ground much). You might want to look in the section on pics of enclosures (I think it's at the top of the Tarantula Pics section) to see what other people have their Avics in. Also see if you can find a piece of cork board or a thick tree branch or something similar for it to build a web on. I'm not sure it will take too well to just the artificial plants you have as ground cover, since that won't be supportive enough for it to climb on without giving way. I'm also assuming that it's so humid because you just put him in there, but I wouldn't keep it that humid all the time. Let it dry out some before you mist again, or else you might have problems with mold eventually, which can be really dangerous for your spider because they'll inhale it into their lungs. He looks like a very pretty spider though! When did you get him? :)

Don't overdo it on the humidity. Ok, it's a KK so you get a lot of ventilation, but still, no need to go on overdrive there. Spraying in one corner or side of the tank would probs be enough :) (in the future! ;) )
